I wanted to share a recent email from OFM regarding possible impacts from the federal budget deadline. Please reach out if you have questions. 

"Dear Labor Unions,

We would like to make you aware that if the federal government fails to pass a budget by March 14, 2025, positions funded by federal dollars may be impacted by a temporary layoff. While the Office of Financial Management remains hopeful Congress will resolve the situation soon by passing an appropriation bill to fund continued operations, we are communicating with state agencies and have asked that they assess potential impacts on programs and staff, and whether they have alternative funding available to continue operations. We will continue to provide you with information and updates as it becomes available.
