Update from OFM on Federal Budget

Hello members, I wanted to share a recent email from OFM regarding possible impacts from the federal budget deadline. Please reach out if you have questions. "Dear Labor Unions, We would like to make you aware that if the federal government fails to pass a budget by March 14, 2025, positions funded by federal dollars may be impacted by a temporary layoff.

One of the tasks your WAFWP Executive Board and attorney does is to review new and revised WDFW polices before they are finalized. We examine the policies to ensure they align with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and Labor Laws. If there are items that do not align, we can Demand to Bargaining (DTB).
