It is that time of year again for the WAFWP Executive Board (EB) Elections! Board members play an important role in serving WAFWP. Each term is two years and consists of monthly EB meetings, quarterly LMCC (WDFW Executive Management) meetings, quarterly WDFW Director's Office meetings, quarterly member meetings, the WAFWP Annual Meeting, and other impactful opportunities. Travel costs and time spent outside of normal business hours are reimbursed by WAFWP. 

Current positions up for election include: President, Secretary, Fish Program Representative, Wildlife Program Representative, and one Member at Large. Please see here for information about each position from the WAFWP by-laws.Training will be provided to new EB members the following day in Tacoma. 

If you are interested in throwing your name into the hat, please email the Vice President (Kurt Anderson) here with the position you are interested in, your candidate statement, and a photo by August 20, 2025. Elections will be posted on the website until 1pm of the Annual Meeting (September 25, 2025). Results will be shared at the close of the Annual Meeting.
